About Us

We are an entrepreneurial investment firm focused on acquiring and growing attractive lower-middle market companies. We strive to help businesses reach the next level of their potential by providing both financial support and operational expertise.

We look to primarily invest in stable businesses with existing profitability and opportunities for organic growth and M&A. Our investment gives business owners an alternative model to traditional private equity while still providing liquidity and a chance to transition out of the company's day-to-day management.

Robert Gayden

Founder & CEO

Robert Gayden is the Founder of Gayden Capital and serves as the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer, leading the Firm’s acquisition process and strategic direction.

Prior to founding and leading Gayden Capital, Mr. Gayden began his career in banking at Commerce Bank in St. Louis and Kansas City.

Robert graduated from Truman State University with a BS in Business Administration and was the senior captain of his college football team. He also earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, where he was a Robert Toigo Fellow.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys exercising, sports, and traveling. He has visited more than 30 countries.
